Blessings for a Magnificent 2012!
Can you believe the most-spoken about year has arrived? (apart from the Millenium that is, through which we sailed quite effortlessly after all!) I think the sheer energy generated by the talk, thought, predictions and energy that has gone into 2012 will alone create a most interesting year.
May all your 'ups' be inspiring, rewarding and fulfilling and may they carry you through your 'downs' gently. May you always have the wisdom to understand that at times we need to go through the downs so that we can learn the lessons that take us up to the next level. Once again my favourite mantra "God grant me the wisdom to see my lessons before I put myself through them!" Easier said than done though!! When times are really tough remind yourself that before you came here you had set up challenges for your own evolution and for every obstacle there are potentially several solutions just waiting for you to step into. Only trouble is that when we're in the poo, we don't easily see them. Open your heart and mind and allow clarity in. Make the right choices for yourself and for the benefit of all.

With all the hype about 2012 there is so much said out there and many prophecies, but one thing that's a definite is that we're all globally feeling the intensity of these times. Some are struggling with manifestation and it seems that some things that were working before, no longer do. The last couple of years I felt hurt by people I loved. I have found it more and more challenging to love humanity as a whole and have questioned my purpose and my desire to assist others. I understand that they are driven by their fears, desperation and ego and my hurt is my own ego's reaction and I can see that to remain loving is one of the greatest challenges of this time. What sees me through the bad times and the discipline to continue through the good times is meditation, clearing the mind and therapies/retreats/workshops that help me release past baggage and fear, keep my hear open and raise my frequency. It's an ongoing journey!
One of the most relevant authors of this time is Eckhart Tolle and if you haven't read his book "A New Earth", do so now (and if you have, read it again). Oprah, in her wisdom, saw the value of his teachings and ran A New Earth Online Class a couple of years ago which was televised globally. Our greatest downfall personally and collectively is EGO. Let's make this the year to learn to come from LOVE, not ego!
In Eckhart's words: "You are not the ego, so when you become aware of the ego in you, it does not mean you know who you are - it means you know who you are not. But it is through knowing who you are not that the greatest obstacle to truly knowing yourself is removed."
So my friends, be true to your authentic self.
Have fun on your spiritual path and enjoy the adventure.
Laugh, love, cry and truly feel what's going on without feeling the need to escape.
Be compassionate - remember we're all in this together!
This is the dawning of a new time! A new earth!
Let's create and celebrate an awesome 2012 - a year to be talked about for many years to come!
