POI PLEASURE

The history of poi goes far back to the past originating from the Maoris in New Zealand.  Poi is the name they gave anything (e.g. balls) that you swing around on strings/ropes or chains.  It is wonderful for left/right brain co-ordination and helps ADD kids with focus & concentration (not to mention a huge boost to self-esteem).  It is also graceful and  a great way to exercise being very aerobic improving muscle tone and strength.

When you become accomplished in the moves with practice or ribbon poi, and if you feel daring and really fired up,
 you can go on to learn how to dance with fire!  

PARTY IDEAS :  The facilitator/s perform a short show after which all the kids are given funky practice poi and shown some basic moves.  A few twisters, some knots and much laughter erupts.  This is not only for kids - anyone of any age who is young spirited can enjoy this.

POI LESSONS :  We hold classes regularly in Cresta, Johannesburg area for those who want to perfect this beautiful graceful art and take it further - perhaps even to dance with fire.  We also travel and can run workshops in all areas.

Juggling is an ancient art and everyone has seen it around, 
but it's not as easy as it looks.

PARTY IDEAS :  Our professional jugglers create excitement as they arrive in style on their Unicycles.  They perform a short show and inspire the kids watching to join them afterwards for a short instruction in this fun form of play art.  Captivating!!

UNIQUE UNICYCLING

Now this is certainly a unique form of party entertainment.  As above, our facilitators will show the kids how it's done and then each kid will get a chance to try it out.  Takes a bit of co-ordination skill, but what a treat to get it right.

DRUM & INTERACTIVE MUSIC CIRCLES

Kids are natural performers and have an inborn talent for music and rhythm, which should be cherished and encouraged.
We can provide facilitators with drums and/or where kids provide their own music and percussion with finger snapping, 
hand clapping, boom whackers and other toys.
