A BIG
'thank you'
to all the wonderful parents and
children of Anam Cara who helped us to make Saturday a really FUN day for
all! It was energizing, with a wonderful warm atmosphere, despite the
chill in the air!
We had so many compliments from visitors
and from stall-holders, many of whom were especially complimentary about the
lovely atmosphere of our centre - so much so that we have had requests that we
do this again! This was all very heart-warming, despite the cold, because
we did indeed put a lot of effort into making the day a success.
Last but certainly not least, our
thanks to Diana of Sundancer Promotions, ably assisted by Edlyn and Terri (who
conducted the opening and closing ceremonies), for all their hard work and time
spent on making sure we had lots of lovely things to do, and who brought in
all these super people. They were really terrific, and have been great to work
with.
It looks like we have made enough
certainly to buy a good TV/DVD set, as well as the table-tennis requested
by many of the youngsters - but we didn't make enough for a pool! (Thank
goodness...)
