You
know you're deserving of love, respect and
honour on every level and
to be who you truly are.
Live in truth from the deepest part
of your essence.
You have the power to manifest all your desires and all that
nurtures and feeds you.
Flow with the powers that be, even with those that seek to
control and relinquish resistance and rebellion.
You are a beautiful soul with much to teach and share. Never
let anything stop you from doing so.
There is much yet you have to give to the world.
Stay inspired and in turn inspire others.
Stay empowered and in turn help others to find their power.
Strive for enlightenment each day in every way and walk your
path with joy and light.
Never forget who you truly are. Be it. Live it. Love it.
Love the world and all it’s people.
Love life and all it’s mystery.
Create magic and laugh much.
Love everyone and accept everything for what it is. Know
that you are your own universe.
Nothing outside need touch
you.
Connect often to source and the oneness and many questions
will dissipate.
No need to seek – just enjoy where you’re at.
Be free.
Be calm.
Be loving.
Be everything you came here to be.
Love yourself first and treat yourself with honour and
respect.
Flow with the river of life and let it guide you where you
need to go.
Just be you.
And the world will sing your symphony in tune
This is my blessing for you for this year.
Life is full of challenges.
Rise above them.
Be strong. Be true.
Soulful love

| For
those of you who showed up for world peace at Earthdance
Thank you for dancing with the earth, the sun and the stars ... It is so rewarding for us to experience that when we open our hearts with love and gratitude, we connect with our authentic selves and when we dance together, we totally connect to the oneness that simply is!! Earthdance Jhb (Gauteng) experienced a rebirth this year with a whole new energy brought on by the beauty of the venue, Smoke with its 500m Hennops River frontage, the wonderful people who worked hard for months to make it happen, and most importantly the children who were honoured and blessed. Not to mention, all of you who came. We thank you for being instrumental in the shift towards peace. Thanks for
all your positive feedback and encouraging words. |
|
|
|
For
those of you who didn't make it, I urge you to join us next
year - to dance the dance of connection with self and
earth. To experience that moment of unity when 1000s
of people around the world focus their intent on peace and
love. It is profound and uplifting beyond words.

Hello 08 September 2009
I know it's been a very long time since you've heard from me and much has happened since. I have just come back from an amazing journey to Croatia and Austria. It's quite something having a look at the world from a different perspective. There are so many things I love in this country, but one thing that's sorely missing here is "Peace". While I was away I lost a special friend who got in the way of others' desperation to take and have at any cost. I truly find these senseless acts hard to accept. As much as we know "everything is perfect as it is, it all happens for a reason, there's a greater purpose...." and perhaps we're just caught up in the payback of this country's past kharma, but don't you think it's time to set out intent to shift this harsh reality and change it to something good and wonderful? Why should we be afraid for our children growing up here?
The
other day I came across the book “Woman of Four Paths”
written by Virginia, Credo Mutwa's wife which I had purchased when
I visited them last year a week before Earthdance 2008.
The message they had written in front is a reminder
of what they had told me and of the African name they had given
me. It says :
“To
Diana – ‘GIYA’ – Dance of Victory
Hey dancing lady we wish you good luck and we ask you to heal the
world with great dancing –
especially
the youth of SA.
God bless you.
V1rginia and Cred0”
And so it is that I (together with a collaboration of wonderful people) will be doing it again and invite you to join us in a powerful global initiative for peace. Earthdance this year falls on 26 September and globally over 340 venues around the world will dance for peace and the raising of the consciousness of this planet. The theme this year is "Blessing the Children" so Earthdance Jhb will be a family event with a facilitated kids programme and kids performances. Funds raised will go to our beneficiary charity, Zizanani to assist them in building a Rejuvenation Centre in Diepsloot for victims of poverty, abuse and crime, as part of their Wings of Life project. So come and join us and get your heart to beat with the rhythm in your feet! More info below......
While the Soul Soup Kitchen was running through winter, we fed many hungry and desperate people each Saturday. THANK YOU so much to all of you who cooked, fetched & carried, served and made donations. Even though we only reached a very small number of the starving out there, and even though it was only once a week, it was truly appreciated by those we fed - if only you could have seen their faces!! Thanks for all your help in giving unconditionally and for giving some people hope. We would like to keep this project ongoing and are asking for your support in this, so if there is any way in which you could help, please email me or join the Facebook group : Soup Soup Kitchen.
I hope you are keeping well and rising above the challenges with a smile on your face!
Love

Dear friends 5 May 2009
The other night I saw "The Pursuit of Happiness" with Will Smith where he struggles to make money, loses his home and ends up on the street with his son. An emotively-charged movie with some tearful moments that left a lump in my throat. Then on Tuesday night I had to drive through the Joburg CBD. I was dismayed to see the number of people that were jam-packed, block after block, like rows of sardines, on the pavements, huddled in their blankets seeking shelter from the rain and cold. I have recently seen the same in Rosebank and other areas. Of course, this got me to thinking that there has to be something we could do to help. There are few shelters for them here. Can you imagine how it would be to be in that position?
I know that we are all accosted at every corner by beggars asking for money, and poverty seems rife and overwhelming, but I really think in line with the Oneness we are, every little bit we can do to help and empower, will shift the whole.
My
friend Tanja has been speaking about setting up a traveling soup
kitchen so that we can at least give nourishment to some of these
people. So now we are going full steam ahead and making it
happen. Our aim is to have drop off points in various parts of
Jhb where people could bring any provisions they would like to
donate. Then we will get together, make the food/soup and
drive to an area such as Rosebank on a Saturday (or other) morning
and serve out of the car.
Do you want to help and get involved? Can you contribute
food/blankets or do you know anyone who could help with sponsorship
of food and/or plastic cups/bowls? If so, please call me
or email
me.
With gratitude, warmth and smiles!
Blessings

As seen by the Hubble Telescope : The Ant Nebula, a cloud of dust and gas whose technical name is Mz3, resembles an ant when observed using ground-based telescopes... The nebula lies within our galaxy between 3,000 and 6,000 light years from earth. Pictures taken by Hubble illustrate that our universe is not only deeply strange, but also almost impossibly beautiful.

Namaste wonderful 12 December 2008
Pat yourself
on the back for seeing another year through. Isn't it wonderful?!?
Crazy - yes I know.
But you know what - you've survived this - haven't you?!?
Well a little
frazzled maybe? A little rough around the dredges?
Trying to gasp for more air to boost your energy
to see you through Xmas shopping and all the Hype Hype Hype!
The way things are - it should be called Hypey Xmas!!
Well I don't wish you that!!
I wish for you a TRULY SOULFUL AND JOYFUL CHRISTMAS.
A time to reconnect to your heart and soul.

It may be cliched and distorted these days, but don't lose heart!
Christmas is about love so enjoy being with the ones you love!
If it's just not possible to be with them, then love the one you're with -
that's you baby!!
Don't expect too much - just savour the moment!!
Even though
it's distorted in some ways - in other ways the celebration of the year end -
harvest time; the wrapping and packing of the season's crop; the culmination of a year worked
hard - all serve a very necessary purpose. It creates a clear
division between the end of one thing and the beginning of
something new. So take this opportunity. Clear your mind.
Turf out all the old,
unfitting, unwanted and open your soul's windows to let the sunshine in.
Let your hair down, smile, smile, smile. Keep your cup full! Feel
gratitude for all the blessings your life is graced with. Do
things that make your heart bloom. Tell them you love them.
Each and every day the entire year through!!
I just want to say that I love you.
Love you for
listening to what I have to say.
Love you for the inspiration you bring to my every day.
Which helps me in turn with my neverending drive to
INSPIRE, EMPOWER AND ENLIGHTEN!
Thank you for touching my world in a meaningful way.
Love you for
your support - those who've worked with me this year,
those who have given me
work this year, and especially
you - my very special friend.
We don't have
that much time to connect in the busyness,
but know that I truly appreciate
you for what you have brought to my life.
You are valued and wonderful!
Goodbye to
a Great 2008
full of challenges, lessons and gifts
and open doors to a super, duper,
absolutely magical.......
DIVINE 2009!
Greetings 6 June 2008
I look around me at life in this country, and particularly our city, and I am saddened to see how desperation is driving people to lose sight of who they are and what life is truly about. The struggle for self-preservation seems to be overtaking all else and sure, it is understandable, but does it warrant a lack of respect for fellow man?
Lately I hear a lot of people saying (and some of you might say exactly that of my opening words) that some people are "negative". There is a fine line between being "realistic" and what could be termed "negative". However, if we are not realistic in facing up to or admitting to what is happening around us, we never feel the need to change or take action. Being "real" means that life sometimes confronts us with challenges which force us to do something. If we stay in a constant state of being "positive" about everything and not opening our eyes to what is happening and seeing what is truly going on, we never feel the need to do anything. Fear and anger are motivators and if you are feeling fearful and angry, and a lot of things going on that feel uncomfortable or unacceptable to you, life could be telling you it's time to make a change. So please examine your thoughts and feelings and don't worry when people say you're being negative. Prepare for the worst and expect the best. However do retain a balance. Instead of just voicing negative thoughts, give power to positive potential solutions and outcomes. That will help in shifting what's going on. After all there's no point in griping if we just sit around and do nothing - is there?
In the end it still really boils down to the need for each and everyone of us to work on healing our own selves. There is a mass consciousness out there which strongly impacts on us, but we cannot take responsibility for all of that. Yet in the process of focusing on "self" let's not forget others our there. Let's not lose sight of compassion and understanding.
Have you noticed just how many starving and suffering people are digging into our garbage bins on refuse collection days? When I noticed this a couple of months ago, my heart felt sore and I was in tears. In a 4Kim stretch, almost each and every bin was being scrummaged through by someone so desperate that their survival depends on our throwaways and "vrot" leftovers. People it has never been this bad and this must tell us something about just how many people are in a deep pit which we could not even imagine. What would you do if it were you? Count your blessings and be thankful! And do something constructive - keep your leftover food, old sarmies and whatever in a plastic bag in the fridge and when you take your bin out, place it on top. Put cardboard, boxes and scrap metals on the side as some take these to recycling. Chat to your schools to consider a separate bin for old sandwiches. Or take everything that you don't want and that others would be truly grateful for to your nearest police station or shelter for the foreigners who are taking refuge there.
Every little bit helps so do your's in any way you can each day!
Love and
gratitude
Diana

Some of you may have started off the year feeling somewhat
disem'power'ed! Yes?!?
Well I think the greatest challenge we are facing is that, notwithstanding the
dimness and darkness at times surrounding us, we always remain in our power
and stay brightly a1ight!
Oh yes, this is
easier said than done. So how do we do this?
We also know
that what is going on in this country is unacceptable and instead of remaining
in our 'power' and taking action, we simply want to run away. Not
surprising! People are so disem'power'ed that they have
absolutely no idea what they could do and they also feel they can have no
effect whatsoever on the outcome and cannot change what's going on. I don't
blame them as I can so relate to that.
So what can we do to take action and to make a difference??
Well I don't claim to have all the answers but seeing the struggle
we're having right now to keep our 1ights burning bright and from past
experience, there is only one thing that I know works in answer to both these
questions:
We need to raise our
own frequency by shining our 1ight and as we are part of the whole, we will in
turn i11uminate the planet!
Listen carefully
guys. The sky's the limit. The harder the challenge the harder we
are being pushed to remain in our power. Many of you have seen
"TheSecret" and are well aware of the LAW OF ATTRACTION.
Yes? So why are so many of you focusing on the stuff going on that you
do not want? We know
we manifest our future by our thoughts and actions so what are you
thinking? and what are you doing?
We also know that : Bad publicity is better than no publicity!
Why?
Because whatever we focus on will manifest - good or bad. So keep
your thoughts full of good visions and don't stop dreaming!
I know that sometimes I may sound like a broken record, but if we want to
expand our 1ight, I cannot stress how important it is to raise our frequency
and in order to do the above, we need to clear blockages in our lives and in our bodies by
releasing anything that doesn't serve us or is not for the good of all. If you
feel overwhelmed or perhaps so depressed that you don't even have the energy
to help yourself, don't delay. Reach out and seek the help of any one of
the many, many beautiful healers and therapists out there.
And lastly, a wonderful soul, Richard, gave me an affirmation to work with
last year which certainly helped me and that is "I take back my power
with ease and with love!"
So use this and don't forget to laugh and dance!
Love much and shine bright
Blessings
